PT Pupuk Kaltim Laboratory is accredited by National Accreditation Committee no. LP-066-IDN for the test lab and LK-101-IDN for the calibration laboratory and is also registered with the Ministry of Environment and Forestry as a Laboratory of Environmental Reference No. 0027/LPJ/LABLING-1/LRK/KLHK.

The PT Pupuk Kalimantan Timur laboratory is supported by competent personnel and equipped with advanced devices, i.e., Gas Chromatography, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, Nitrogen Analyzer, NDIR Spectrometer, Isokinetik instrument, and other laboratory instrumentation.

The scope of the laboratory testing includes fertilizer testing, ammonia, natural gas, wastewater, seawater, non-moving source emission, moving source emission, ambient air, processed water, processed gas, raw and supporting materials, oil, and other tests conducted with reference to national and international standard methods, i.e., SNI, AOAC, ASTM, JIS, USEPA, and other standard methods. The scope of calibration includes mass, volume, temperature, pressure, analytic instrument calibration, and other calibration.
